During the course of 2023, Home Caravan Services became so busy that we had to turn away a lot of frustrated customers. To try and avoid this situation in 2024 we have joined forces with another local engineer, Sam Boast who was in the process of building his client base in 2023 after qualifying as a caravan/motorhome engineer pre Covid. He joined me on several jobs in 2023 and having seen him working, I was confident in his abilities and work ethic and as such, I was happy to refer customers to him in the latter part of the year, for him to work on, on his own without my supervision (though I am only a phone call away).
For 2024, to make it easier for customers to book myself or Sam, he has been added to our online booking calendar so customers can book either myself or Sam.
Sam will continue to work under his own business and documentation/invoices etc will come from there not Home Caravan Services. So although you may have booked Sam via the Home Caravan Services booking system, your contract will be with his business. Sam is MCEA (Mobile Caravan Engineer Association) signed off, has completed his Gas training and is also a qualified electrician. He has in place appropriate public liability insurance. He can also pull on my experience and that of other engineers if needed. As we move through 2024 I aim to move towards retirement and hope that by the end of the year Sam will be in a position to take over Home Caravan Services and Grow the business as he see’s fit.

We've recently changed our coverage map to reflect the distance and travel times we can cover. If you are in the light green area we may be able to help so do contact us, if you are outside the areas then we are unlikely to be able to help as travel time and fuel cost is just too high.
