Home Caravan Services is a small business that relies on external services (Data Processors) to function. As such we are defined as a Data Collector.
The services we use and that may hold personal data are listed below
Each of the above companies are GDPR compliant and we are bound by their arrangements.
Due to its nature the business does not direct market to individuals and therefore does not store customer data in a way that can be used for marketing i.e. email lists. We do not sell or pass on customer details to any other parties. We also collect and hold the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our services. We do not collect "Sensitive Personal Data" as defined in the GDPR Regulations.
We store Customer Addresses and contact details within Quickfile to facilitate invoicing and payments, naturally there will also be a record of each transaction. Customer Addresses may also be held within Google Calendar.
Customer emails are held within Google’s Gmail Suite.
Customer SMS messages and voice call data are held by Plusnet, together with call related data (date time etc)
Service records are held by Microsoft on their “OneDrive” platform, but do not hold address data only name, date and vehicle data.
Data such as Emails, Calendar, invoicing can only be accessed by browser and is not held locally. Service Records are held on line and mirrored locally on a password protected PC.
Data relating to visits to our website is held by Google for its Analytics facilities as is similar data provided by Weebly, we do not see individuals data just aggregated views.

- Google provides Email, calendar and photo storage services as well as Analytics for our website.
- Quickfile provides invoicing facilities
- Facebook provides a two-way communications channel
- Weebly provides website facilities and a communication channel through which customers can contact us
- Microsoft provides Cloud based storage (Service records, letters etc)
- PayPal Provides a facility to take credit card payments (transaction data)
- Plusnet Provides Mobile Telephone call and data services
- WAZE or Google maps may hold addresses of past and future appointments where those programs have been used to navigate to the customer.
